Samsung Galaxy, a well-known brand in electronics, has entered a partnership with the Esports Awards and its mobile awards segment, the Mobies. This collaboration positions Samsung Galaxy as the official mobile partner for the Esports Awards and the title sponsor for the Mobies.
Samsung Galaxy’s Role in Esports Awards
Samsung Galaxy is set to have a significant presence at the upcoming gaming award events starting on November 19th. During the Esports Awards, Samsung will host the 5th edition of its ‘Samsung Galaxy Battles’ tournament. This tournament will feature PUBG Mobile and involve notable esports figures. Competitors will use Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 devices, with the event being broadcasted on November 21st after the main awards ceremony.
Tech-Infused Events and Interactive Experiences
Samsung is also adding a unique twist to the Esports Awards with a tech-infused interactive experience. On November 22nd, during the Esports Awards Open, which is a golf tournament, Samsung will sponsor an engaging brand-sponsored hole. The event will feature sports, music, and gaming talents.
Esports Awards in 2024 and the Introduction of Mobies
This Los Angeles event is the second Esports Awards ceremony in 2024, following an earlier one in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will feature different award categories, such as Esports Organisation of the Year and Esports Content Creator of the Year. The Mobies, a dedicated ceremony for mobile gaming, launched last year and will take place on November 19th, with the Esports Awards following on November 21st.
Samsung’s Commitment to Esports
Samsung continues to expand its involvement in competitive esports. Recently, the company partnered with XSET to support women’s esports in North America. Additionally, Samsung teamed up with NRG to launch a PUBG mobile division earlier this year.
